So well Very first let's let you present yourself. Samantha. AF: Hi everyone. Amanda, I'm pleased to be here. I am a speech therapist and train unique education teacher and have been working in the field of education for rather a long time now. primary school, as well as middle school and at the college level.
Some things were falling through the fractures for them and they were having a hard time. Therefore we began to see the very same patterns of habits, time and time once again with, these trainees that, you understand, often when they remain in high school and transitioning to college, we look at them and we say their failure to launch, or sometimes they're, they're the ones that go to college.
What, you know, what the difficulty is. So we started to look at those students in particular and what we discovered was that they all had the very same pattern of, of actually showing weak points in the areas of executive function. So that's, you know, where I started to really take a look at it and, and you understand, beginning with here the college age and then really moving down to high school and middle school and we see many times that trainees begin having problem with these skills as early as upper elementary school and intermediate school, clerk, you understand, so I more than happy to be here.

LL: Great. I was presented to the idea of executive functioning abilities when I first became a supporter, fortunately. And it wasn't something I had actually truly considered. And it's absolutely one of those things where if it exists, I think you take it for approved if you have decent abilities.
And after that I find that a great deal of moms and dads can't truly specify that. You know, they, they understand what they're seeing. And then I say, well, is it this is it this is it this And after that they're like, Oh yeah. And I resemble, okay, you have executive working concerns.
